Drupal wins Webware 100 award: Publishing and Photography

Other than this blog, I use Drupal for all my web projects. More on this later, I gotta get to bed and writing this on my iPod Touch isn't the most ideal situation.

How to add events from an ICAL feed into Outlook

ICAL is a standard way to export calendar events. If you're using a Mac is really easy to import this feed, but Outlook 2003 on Windows XP doesn't make it quite so easy. To add an ICAL calendar with all events to a Outlook:

Trackthis - Package Tracking via Twitter

PB30 has just created an awesome new Twitter service, Trackthis. Like Twitter, the premise is simple, get package updates in Twitter instead of getting package tracking updates via email or going to the shipping company's website. It works with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL. To track a package all you need to do is send an direct message to trackthis with the tracking number and short description or name of the package. That's it.

Flickr Video vs. Youtube vs. Vimeo

So I heard about Flickr offering video in addition to photos. I'm sure you have as well. I was worried that the quality of the videos wouldn't hold up to the high standards set by the enormous sizes (at least pro members) can upload. However I was pleasantly pleased when I uploaded a video that I've uploaded to both Vimeo (my favorite) and Youtube (blah!) so that I could see the differences myself.
